Hangovers here are as popular as the pancakes, and the night-before gossip
flows as freely as syrup.
The
Scene
Located on the quieter end of Ocean Drive, this is a favorite breakfast
spot for locals (and hip tourists) who like good food and service sans
the South Beach attitude. It seems that nobody here is in a rush, and
if you are, well, this isn't the place for you. Expect plenty of stragglers
nursing hangovers with a bloody mary, and don't be surprised if you recognize
your server from last night's dance floor.
The
Food
Dig into huge breakfasts like French toast with bananas and walnuts,
omelettes stuffed with grilled veggies and Jack cheese, or blueberry
pancakes the size of a steering wheel. The lunch menu features standard
but tasty salads and sandwiches, including a great chicken Caesar and
an exceptionally good burger
