Catch the wave to South Beach’s newest
hotspot with Club Onda South Beach, an upscale
New York style bar and lounge on Washington
Avenue and 12th Street, co-owned by entertainment
guru Michael Pasqualini and Jacquelynn D. Powers,
senior writer for Ocean Drive. Opened in late
August, Club Onda South Beach features a tapas-style
American menu created by celebrity chef consultant,
Kerry Simon.
Club
Onda South Beach features a waterfall at the
entrance, the blue and beige palette of the
nearby beach, and a state of the art sound and
LED light system creating gentle color waves.
A
private VIP area with its own entrance, and
a granite bar with recessed lighting, sits off
to the side. Sofas and banquette seating 240
are covered in an ultra suede wave motif. Classic
beige stone tile flooring throughout, softened
with tiger striped woven rugs, completes the
look. Sure to be a favorite feature: The club’s
seating is topped with leather banquette cushions
sturdy enough to dance and ogle celebrities
