The Scene
This stylish northern Italian restaurant with bright, yellow sunflowers
sprouting from cobalt-blue vases on the tables is more than just another
pasta joint. While prices can be high, considering the quality of the
food and the free pedestrian parade that comes along with the meal if
you sit outside, it's worth the money.
The
Food
As if the pleasant and personal service weren't enough to distinguish
Tiramisu from many other Italian eateries on "The Road," elegant
handmade pastas (ask which are fresh and which are dried), generous salads,
grilled meats and seafood would. Portions are large, although at least
half a dozen of the pasta plates are conveniently offered in three sizes,
from small to family-size. A favorite is the novite verde al salmone--a
mild spinach pasta with chunks of fresh salmon, chopped tomatoes, tarragon
and radicchio.
