TWIST is one of longest running gay clubs in Miami - and has become a South Beach "must do" as it has continously redefined its concept for over 12 years.

TWIST is the infamous South Beach gay club, known throughout the world for its great music, friendly staff, and always being packed with hot tourists and locals alike. TWIST is actually seven bars in one with each bar having its own unique atmosphere and décor. You can literally "bar hop" without ever leaving this two story club. TWIST is open seven days a week from 1pm to 5am. Its motto is its mantra - Never a Cover - Always a Groove. Its reputation as a "must do" when in Miami is well deserved.

The first bar that you encounter when entering TWIST is the "Video Pub" which artfully combines an English gentlemen's club décor with the audio and visual of current music video. Then outside enter a quieter "Garden" area with plantings, mood lighting and a bar that features tropical drinks. Step just off this garden and into the tiki, tropical "Bungalow Bar", which is best known for "Gaiety", a collection of erotic men dancing for your pleasure. On upstairs the ocean breezes flow through the veranda style "Patio Bar" As the night thickens past midnight, the size of the crowd is growing in equal proportion to its intensity. The "Main Room" DJ is setting the bass and the beat to cutting edge tribal house rhythms. Next door in the more upscale (but equally) packed "Frolic Lounge" take in a short show or just step back and observe the ever changing parade of human flesh. Finally you head back downstairs and into the "Game Room" for a late night game of pool or video games.

TWIST is located in the popular Washington Avenue nightlife district in the heart of South Beach (which is the southern portion of the city of Miami Beach). It is next door the authentic 11th Street Diner at 1057 Washington Ave. It is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean and the popular 12th street "gay" Beach. The club is within easy walking distance of major hotels, shopping and restaurants and sits in the middle of the city's "National Art Deco Historical District." Miami Beach is gay friendly and the South Beach portion of the city is home to a large gay population. As required by ordinance, entry to TWIST is limited to ages 21 and over.

Disco ball with Ebony! 70's and 80's retro all night with outrageous drag performances by local artists in the frolic lounge. Legendary DJ Lazaro Leon packs the main room with tribal rhythms and energy. Muscle boy dancers take it off in the bungalow bar.

MONDAY

I'm a local! Locals receive $3 drinks all night. Guest DJ's spin energy every Monday with hot gaiety dancers taking it off in the bungalow bar.

TUESDAY

More Gaiety - you asked for it - so you have it: Experience Gaiety on Tuesday's now seven nights of hot boys dancing in the bungalow every week. Pussila is complete madness every Tuesday with a new show every week that includes everything from amateur strip to her very own version of American Idol. DJ Diva Bugie rules the dance floor.

WEDNESDAY

Twist presents DRAGBOY! Superstar Adora hosts Florida's finest female impersonators in a show that's been packing them in for years. DJ Demo combines house, tribal and progressive house in a style he calls "twisted chunky house. Gaiety is hot in the bungalow bar.

THURSDAY

Every Thursday is packed with boys clamoring for their 2 for 1 well drinks and domestic beers. Billboard reporting DJ Bill Hallquist keeps the dance floor slammed all night. Hot Gaiety dancers taking it off in the Bungalow Bar.

FRIDAY

Guest DJ's from a long list of both international and local superstars. Hot Gaiety dancers take it off in the Bungalow Bar. Complimentary Hors d'oeuvres served at Happy Hour.

SATURDAY
